Somerville teen sought in connection with deadly shooting

SOMERVILLE, Mass. — Somerville police are continuing to ask the public for help locating a teenager they want to speak with in connection to a deadly shooting earlier this week.

Police tell Boston 25 News that Jonathan T. Perry, 17, is not a suspect in the deadly shooting of Tenzin Kunkhyen, 16, but instead are looking for more information about what took place inside the home at 14 Farragut Ave.

Jonathan lived in the home where the shooting occurred. Tenzin had lived and attended school in Somerville but recently moved to Malden.

Jonathan is described is a clean-shaven white male with shoulder length brown hair. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds, according to the Middlesex District Attorney’s office.

The District Attorney’s Office said Jonathan may have recently traveled to Malden or North Andover.

No other information about Jonathan is being released because of his age, but anyone with information about where to find him is asked to call Massachusetts State Police at 508-820-2121.
