Police searching for Somerville teen in connection to recent deadly shooting

SOMERVILLE, Mass. — Police in Somerville have identified a teen they are searching for in connection to the deadly shooting of a 16-year-old earlier this week.

Jonathan T. Perry, 17, is a clean-shaven white male with shoulder length brown hair. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds according to the Middlesex District Attorney’s office.

Perry lives at 14 Farragut Ave. in Somerville, the same home where 16-year-old Tenzin Kunkhyen was shot in the chest on Tuesday.

Tenzin had lived and attended school in Somerville but recently moved to Malden.

The DA’s office believes Perry may have recently been to Malden and North Andover.

No other information about Perry is being released because of his age, but anyone with information about where to find him is asked to call State Police at 508-820-2121.
