• WATCH: Quick Clearing Today

A few showers will linger early this morning before we clear out.  Skies will be nice and bright again by lunchtime with a significant drop in humidity as the day progresses.  Highs will be cooler, but still above average, in the low 80s.

Let's do it again tomorrow!  You'll find crisp conditions in place for the AM commute, cooler too in the 50s.   Mostly sunny skies will carry us through the afternoon with highs in the 80s.  Clouds will roll in for the evening, and there may be a passing shower Wednesday night.

Summer officially begins this Thursday at 6:07 AM.  The longest (daylight) day of the year brings Boston sunrise at 5:07 AM and sunset at  8:24 PM.  The weather looks decent with some early morning clouds, perhaps a shower along the South Coast, then increasing afternoon sun.  Sea breezes will tend to keep conditions a little cooler at local beaches late week.

Every Friday of the summer we bring the Boston 25 Morning News to a different Massachusetts town.  Our Zip Trip season kicks off this week at Emerson Park in Peabody from 6-10 AM.  The weather is a perfect excuse to come say "hi".  Plan on wake-up weather in the upper 50s.  Sunshine will boost temps back to 70 degrees by 10 AM.  Inland towns and cities will reach highs in the lower 80s during the afternoon, while the beaches stick with the middle 70s.
