Patriots bring back Martellus Bennett

The Patriots have claimed tight end Martellus Bennett off of waivers from the Packers. Bennett was released by the Packers on Wednesday, following a three-year, $21 million contract he signed as a free-agent in March.

Bennett thrived in his one season with the Patriots catching 55 passes for 701 yards and seven touchdowns.  The man who replaced him in New England this season Dwayne Allen has yet to catch a single pass.
