Nate Solder talks about leaving Patriots

FOXBORO — Nate Solder played in four Super Bowls during his time with the Patriots, winning two world championships and connecting himself with the community through countless charity programs.

Nate's wife, Lexy, and son, Hudson, were also embraced by Patriots fans as Hudson continues to fight renal cancer. That battle, on the heels of Nate's own fight with cancer, made Nate one of the most relatable and likable Patriots players of the last decade.

Solder signed a new contract with the Giants shortly after the NFL's free agency period began and after seven years in New England, he will move to New York.

Butch Stearns connected with Nate Thursday night at Matt Light's annual "Fools Rush In" event.
