• JD Martinez hitless in Red Sox spring debut

    FORT MYERS - JD Martinez finished 0-2 in his Spring Training debut before being replaced in the Red Sox game against Minnesota. 

    Martinez, who played left field, flied out to right center to end the first inning and flew out to center in the fourth inning. 

    Aneury Tavarez took over for Martinez in left field in the top of the fifth inning.
