Former Patriots linebacker James Harrison retires after 14 seasons

Former Patriots linebacker James Harrison is calling it quits after 14 seasons in the NFL.

Harrison posted on Instagram Monday morning, saying "I've missed way too much for way too long...and I'm done."

"Many thanks to my family, coaches, the fans, and everyone who played a role in my football life," Harrison wrote in the post.

Harrison played four games for the Patriots in the 2017 season after playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers for the first half of the year. He played 12 full seasons for the Steelers, with one year with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2013.
