BOSTON - Aly Raisman, a six-time Olympic medalist, was introduced as Eastern Bank's newest "Partner for Good" as the bank celebrated its 200th anniversary

Raisman joined Eastern Bank partners Doug Flutie and David Ortiz on stage as she surprised more than 1,900 employees and invited guests.

Eastern Bank typically donates 10% of its net income to local charities each year. This year, the bank is recognizing "advancing women" in honor of its very first customer, Rebecca Sutton. Raisman's dedication to the prevention of child sexual abuse has kept her in the spotlight throughout the last 12 months. She and other survivors of Dr. Larry Nassar's abuse will be honored with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at this summer's ESPYs.

Tuesday's event, hosted at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, featured Raisman, Flutie and Ortiz speaking on stage, a 20-foot cake custom made by Montilio's and a fireworks display over the Boston Harbor.
