BOSTON — The Boston Celtics announced guard Abdel Nader underwent a right wrist surgery last Friday to correct lingering issues that resulted from a fracture he suffered in high school. The procedure is formally known as an arthroscopy and ulnar osteotomy.
He is expected to return to basketball activities in approximately 2-3 months and be at full strength by training camp.
Nader was a rookie in the 2017-18 season where he averaged 10.9 minutes and three points per game.
