• Firehouse Friday: Dedham Fire Department

    Updated:

Firefighters do so much to keep us safe and there are little things we can do to help them out!  With the nor'easter earlier this week several fire hydrants were covered with heavy snow.  Mayor Marty Walsh asked people to check hydrants and clear a pathway around them if it was safe to do so. Dedham Fire Chief William Spillane explains how important a single minute can be in a rescue. With hydrants already cleared the firefighters can get right to work and not have to break to make a clear path.

Thank you to the Dedham Fire Department for your dedication and hard work to keep us safe!
