A youth hockey coach charged with sexually abusing several children is now facing new charges.
An Essex Grand Jury returned 10 addition indictments against 31-year-old Christopher Prew of Winthrop.
Prew is accused of assaulting six boys under the age of 14 in Marblehead and Peabody. Prew was indicted on nine counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and one count of attempted indecent assault and battery on a child under 14.
Prew is expected to be arraigned on the new charges on Friday. He is already being held behind bars.
His mother, 55-year-old Louise Martino, was also indicted for intimidation of a witness. Her arraignment has not been scheduled.
