X-Files renewed for 10 more episodes this fall

BOSTON — The award-winning show X-Files has been renewed for another 10 episode run this fall.

The news follows last year's successful reboot of the show. It will feature David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson in their original roles as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

The sci-fi show originally premiered in September 1993.

It follows the two FBI agents as they investigate paranormal activity.
