• Woman sexually assaulted while walking dog in Halifax, police say

    Halifax police are warning residents after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted over the weekend.

    Around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, a young woman was walking her dog on Lingan Street when a man attacked her. 

    Police did not release much information on the assault, but say they are following leads. They are also urging residents to try to do activities during the day and to never walk alone after dark.

    No suspect description was revealed.
