• Unusual letter arrives at Athol post office

    Updated:

ATHOL, Mass. - Calling the "Farmlady in Athol, Ma. who grows sheep and rides horses and canoes", there's a letter waiting for you at the Athol Post Office.

There's no address on the letter from England, and in fact, the note says, "Please forgive me U.S. mailman, I don't know the address. Hope you will know and deliver this to her (?farm?)."

Zandy McBeth posted a photo of the letter on her Facebook page, "The post office delivered it to the Farm School (a valid guess!) but no one there believes they are the "Farmlady" in question."

Zandy posted the letter, hoping to find the rightful owner.

"If you know a Farmlady in Athol who keeps sheep, rides horses, and canoes, please let me know! It wold be so fun to see this letter delivered!" she wrote.

The return address is from David Howard in Northhampton, England.
