Tractor-trailer gets wedged under railroad overpass on Storrow Drive

BOSTON — A tractor-trailer slammed into a railroad bridge over Storrow Drive early Monday morning, but luckily it won’t impact the morning commute.

The 18-wheeler, which was packed with frozen produce, slammed into the bridge around 1:30 a.m.
The truck rolled over after the crash, but the driver was not injured.

Crews were able to quickly move in and get it unstuck and remove it from the area.

Storrow inbound at Cambridge Street was closed while crews worked to remove the truck, and drivers had been asked to avoid the area.

No other information was released.
