"Serial stalker" fired from Uber continues targeting women outside bars

Authorities say a serial stalker has struck again.

Boston 25 News first reported on Richard Agyemang in June of 2016, who authorities say is dangerous. Officials say he has been going around stalking women and won't take no for an answer.

"The fear is he is aggressive. His behavior is escalating," said Millbury Police Detective Andrea Warpula.

Warpula says most recently, he stalked two Panera Bread employees at the Shops at Blackstone Valley Mall.

"He followed her to her vehicle, he was standing in front of her hood, awkwardly staring at her, tried to engage her in conversation," said Warpula.

Agyemang has been charged with annoying and accosting, which is a misdemeanor and doesn't require jail time.

"He went to the passenger side and banged on her window aggressively," said Warpula.

He told authorities he was just looking for a girlfriend.

"He said, how am I supposed to get a girlfriend if all of you have boyfriends? That was alarming," said Warpula.

Police want women in the area to take a good look at the red Acura pictured above. Authorities say Agyemang was fired from Uber, but he's still picking up female passengers, specifically when bars are closing.

"Uber drivers never take cash, they will send you, if you used the app, they will send you the license plate number, make and model, and the name of the driver," said Warpula.

Millbury Police say they are working closely with detectives in Worcester, Shrewsbury and Natick, where they say Agyemang is going around doing the same thing.

Police are asking the public, if you've had any strange encounters with him, give Millbury Police a call.
