WEST ROXBURY, Mass. — A fire in West Roxbury reached six alarms Saturday morning.

Two firefighters and one resident were transported by Boston EMS with non-life threatening injuries.

The heavy fire spread to three floors in the apartment building, Boston Fire said.

The fire comes just over two hours after a four-alarm fire on Dale Street in Roxbury that displaced 19 people, including 12 adults and seven children.

The Boston Fire Department said they eventually contained the fire to the rear of the building, and the gas leak was fueling the fire. They contained the fire to its origin, and turned their attention to shutting down the gas leak.
