REVERE, Mass. — A water main break has closed some ramps along Route 1 in Revere.
Boston 25 News reporter Michael Henrich is reporting live from the scene where the break has impacted traffic in the area.
Lots of water could be seen flooding the Salem Street underpass.
As of 5 a.m., the Route 1 northbound entrance ramp from Salem Street was closed. The Route 1 southbound ramp was closed, but has since reopened.
Coming down Route 1, the Lynn Street exit ramps are closed.
Around 5:30 a.m., crews were able to shut the water off.
There is no word yet on what caused the break.
