Randolph police investigating widespread vandalism to cars

RANDOLPH, Mass. - Several cars were spray painted and vandalized across town Monday night, according to Randolph police.

Chief William Pace told Boston 25 News the cars were found around 6 a.m. Tuesday morning spray painted in the parking lot of the Liberty Place apartment complex.

Subsequent reports came in about similar incidents on North Street, Vesey Road, Beverly Circle and McDevitt Road. Chief Pace said there was a total of 20 reports by Tuesday afternoon.

One vehicle had “666” painted on it, another had a Swastika painted on it, while others were keyed or had spray painted lines across them.

Police say the vehicles appear to have been selected at random.

The incidents are under investigation and anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area last night is asked to call the Randolph Police Department at 781-963-1212.
