Prosecutors say man bragged about shooting at teens in road rage incident

DENNISPORT, Mass. — A man has been charged with shooting at teenagers in Barnstable after a road rage incident, according to police.

Nicholas Beale, 21, was arrested at his home in Dennisport Wednesday after police say he followed four teens all the way to their home in Hyannis and fired shots into the house.

In court Thursday morning, prosecutors said Beale was already out on bail when he fired the shots into the home Tuesday evening.

Police say they identified him after witnesses told them about the confrontation at the home on Frost Lane in Hyannis. According to officers, Beale threatened to shoot another occupant of the home who came outside after the shots were fired.

Prosecutors say Beale bragged to his friends about the event, saying, “I let those rounds fly.”
