• Portion of abandoned house in Cambridge collapses, damages car

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - A part of an abandoned home collapsed in Cambridge Friday morning, damaging a car parked adjacent to it, police said.

    The incident was reported on Cedar Street at a home that was being demolished just after 8 a.m.

    No one was in the car or home at the time, and no injuries are reported.

    Police said they would remain at the scene until the debris is removed from the area.
