• Police investigating after man reportedly exposed himself at North Shore Mall

PEABODY – Peabody Police are investigating a girl’s claims that a man exposed himself to her in the North Shore Mall.

According to a police report, it happened Saturday night at Forever 21.

Investigators said the victim is a minor but authorities have not disclosed her age. Police also haven’t said exactly how the incident unfolded.

The detective working this case told Boston 25 News on Monday night that he’s since recovered several surveillance stills that could potentially help police identify a suspect. He said police likely would not have additional details to release until later in the week.

Police say it was the girl’s mother who reported the allegations.

A police report says the mother initially reported the claims to mall security and accused security of not being interested.

A Simon Mall spokeswoman declined to comment on the case and called  it an “on-going investigation”.

Boston 25 News will continue to follow this investigation as it develops.
