CHELSEA, Mass. — Chelsea Police say two people were shot Wednesday night.
Police were called to Chestnut Street near Second Street just after 9 p.m. Wednesday for a reported shooting.
Chelsea officer treated two male victims who were shot in the leg. Their injuries are deemed non-life threatening.
The 18- and 27-year-old victims were taken to Mass. General Hospital.
Police say they believe the suspect knew the victims and fled the area on foot.
Anyone with information should call police.
