Plane overshoots runway, rams nose into metal fence

MARLBORO, Mass. — A small plane overshot the runway at Marlboro Airport on Sunday afternoon, going right into a fence.

The DA40 aircraft's pilot misjudged the runway and ended up with it's nose right through a fence.

Four passengers were reportedly on board, but no one was hurt.

The FAA released the following statement on the incident:

A DA40 aircraft landed long on Runway 14 and went through a fence at the Marlborough Airport, Marlborough, MA today at 1:35 p.m. Contact local authorities for information on the pilot and passengers.
