Patriots, fans embrace the cold with blanket donations

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The Patriots showed up to put a beat down on the Jets Sunday, but Pats fans showed up to support their team and their community.

The team accepted donations of blankets after the game from fans on their way out and plenty dropped off their fair share.

Fans were bundled up to watch Tom Brady and Co. clinch the top spot in the AFC and secure home field advantage through the playoffs.

Though the stadium seemed to empty just a few minutes early, it was packed from the get go and fans were layered in their warmest clothes as wind chills pushed the feels like temperatures to below 0.
