• North Brookfield PD: Man shot while shoveling his driveway

    North Brookfield Police are looking for a suspect who shot a man while he was out shoveling.

    Police said a 35-year-old man was shoveling his driveway on Bigelow St on Jan. 8 when the incident happened.

    The victim says he turned and saw a person with a rifle, who fired a shot at him. The man was shot in the side, and was brought to the hospital.

    He has since been released.

    Police said the suspect was wearing several layers of clothing, with a dark jacket on top and a full-face knit hat.

    The suspect ran from the scene.
