NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - Firefighters in North Andover said two people were injured after a propane tank exploded at a gas station on Monday afternoon.

Fire officials responded to the explosion at the Shell gas station at 980 Osgood Street just before 4:00 p.m.
Both victims were transported via Medflight helicopters to an area hospital with burn injuries.
The extent of their injuries is still unknown.
Officials say the propane has been shut off.
