BROCKTON, Mass. -  Police have arrested a mother and daughter for allegedly distributing heroin at a courthouse in Brockton.

Christine Lozanne, 54, and her daughter, Tineisha Lozanne, 25, are charged with distribution of a Class A substance (heroin), conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act, deliver of an article to an inmate and attempt to commit a crime (deliver of an article or drugs to a prisoner in a jail).

The two were arrested Wednesday at their home in Norwood.

“It’s horrifying. To know this is going on and what could be possibly attracted to our neighborhood,” neighbor Alan Anderson said.

Boston 25 News has also learned that three court officers have also been placed on administrative lead as part of the investigation.

The Lozanne’s were arraigned and pleaded not guilty Wednesday before being released on person recognizance. They are scheduled to appear in court again in January.
