CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Police say an MIT graduate student was robbed at knifepoint Sunday morning in Cambridge.

The victim told police four people on bicycles approached him in the area of Brookline and Pacific Streets around 1:30 a.m.

The suspects got away with the man's iPhone and wallet.

Cambridge police said they have had several other similar incidents in the past week.

On April 19 a man was walking alone in the area of Pearl and Lopez Street. He was approached by two unknown people on bicycles.

About an hour later a different man was walking on Windsor Street when two suspects on bicycles approached him. In that incident the suspects took $50 from the man before driving away.

Police remind people not to travel alone, especially late at night.
