Police investigating video of man breaking into Milton home

MILTON, Mass. — A man tried to break into a home in Milton before seeing cameras throughout the house.

In a video released by the Milton Police Department, the man can be seen breaking into the home through a back door two weeks ago.

On May 7th, a little before 1:30 PM, a home on Brook Road in East Milton was broken into by the subject depicted in this video. The subject entered and exited the home through a rear door. He realized there were cameras in the house while committing the crime as he covers his face upon exiting the home. He was last observed walking through backyards on Brook Road out to Centre Street. He walked into different rooms asking if anyone was home, and eventually saw cameras and left the house with his face covered.

Police say the man was last seen walking through backyards on Brook Road and out to Centre Street.

The department is asking for any help in identifying the man.
