BOSTON — Jurors in the murder trial for Michael McCarthy heard from an expert on ocean drift Tuesday.
He spoke about the path the body of two-year-old Bella Bond may have taken after it was placed in a bag and dumped in Boston Harbor.
Prosecutors say the toddler was killed by McCarthy, her mother’s boyfriend, and then thrown in the harbor.
Tuesday afternoon, a forensic expert explained why he could not recover any fingerprints from the bag or Bella's body.
