BOSTON — Spring ArtWeek in Boston is here, with more than 180 creative experiences throughout the city.

Many of the events are participatory or interactive, offering access to the creative process.

The 10 day long festival started Friday and goes through May 8.

Some of the events are free, like the Cape Cod Mini Maker Faire, but others have a fee, like the Seafood Throwdown at the Boston Public Market. Yes, ArtWeek includes food as art, as well as dance, movement and live music.
