Hearing set for two people arrested on weapons charges

TEWKSBURY, Mass. — Police in Tewksbury have arrested and charged two people with multiple counts of weapons possession.

On Saturday, police arrested Francho Bradley, 59, and Adrianne Jennings, 40, both from Frisco, Texas for eight counts of possession of large capacity firearms, among other charges.

Both were arrested after Bradley called Tewksbury Police from the Marriott Residence Inn to report that his room had been broken into.

Police searched the room for any signs of a break-in, but instead ended up finding multiple firearms and ammunition.

A search warrant was issued for the hotel room and the couple's car, where police found more weapons, ammunition, large capacity feeding devices and infernal machines.

Bradley and Jennings were also charged with 16 counts of possession of a large capacity feeding device, three counts of possession of a silencer, eight counts of improper storage of a large capacity firearm, improper storage of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without a license and three counts of possession of an infernal machine.

The duo was also charged for possession of a bump stock, a device that essentially converts semiautomatic weapons into machine guns. On Friday, the Justice Department announced a proposal to ban bump stocks.

Bradley and Jennings were arraigned at Lowell District Court on Monday afternoon. They are being held for a hearing on Friday.
