• FOX25's Mark Ockerbloom receives ‘Excellence in Journalism Award'


    STONEHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- FOX25’s Mark Ockerbloom was honored Thursday evening by the Middlesex County Bar Association.

    Ock, as he’s known as in the newsroom, received the "Excellence in Journalism" award for making a positive impact in the community and his outstanding work as a journalist in Boston.

    The association said Ock exemplifies what it means to deliver unbiased, accurate information to the public and viewers throughout New England.  

    Ock received the award on his dinner break, in between the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts Thursday evening.

    The Middlesex County Bar Association is a voluntary professional membership association open to all attorneys who practice in Middlesex County.
