• Tom Brady's stolen Super Bowl jersey located on 'foreign soil'

BOSTON - The FBI and NFL security say they believe they have located Tom Brady’s stolen Super Bowl jersey, according to FOX Sports.

Few details have been released, but FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer said the FBI is involved because the jersey was located on “foreign soil.”

The NFL said it believes the jersey was stolen by someone who was posing as someone from the international media, according to Glazer.

No other details were immediately released.

The story made headlines across the country after Brady noticed his jersey was missing from the locker room after the historic Super Bowl win.

“The jersey,” Brady said at the time. “I put it in my bag and then came out and it wasn’t there anymore. So it’s unfortunate because that’s a nice piece of memorabilia. So if it shows up on eBay somewhere, someone let me know. Try to track that down.”

NFL statement on finding Tom Brady's Super Bowl jersey:

"Through the cooperation of the NFL and New England Patriots' security teams, the FBI and other law enforcement authorities, the Super Bowl LI jersey worn last month by MVP Tom Brady has been recovered. Also retrieved during the ongoing investigation was the jersey Brady wore in the Patriots' victory in Super Bowl XLIX against the Seattle Seahawks in 2015. The items were found in the possession of a credentialed member of the international media. Due to the ongoing investigation, we would refer any additional questions to the FBI."
