Boston Mayor Marty Walsh had already declared his birthday Devin Suau Day, and Boston began paying tribute overnight.

Boston City Hall is glowing green, because it was the color of Devin’s favorite superhero, The Green lantern.

Everyone is asked to wear green Friday in honor of Devin.

His family will mark the occasion by visiting Boston Children’s Hospital where Devin was a patient for reverse trick-or-treating.

There will also be an all day fundraiser at the Margarita’s in Framingham, with 20 percent of the proceeds going to the Why Not Devin cause.

Devin’s parents created the #WhyNot Devin movement to help raise money and awareness diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG).
