Cyclist critically injured after being hit in Freetown

FREETOWN, Mass. — A woman is in critical condition after she was struck while riding a bike in Freetown.

Police said the cyclist was on Middleboro Road when 18-year-old Molly Smith rear ended the bike with her 2006 Acura.

The cyclist was taken to St. Luke's Hospital by firefighters and then taken to Mass General by medical helicopter.

The collision is being investigated by Freetown and State Police.
