CHARLESTON, S.C. - Heavy winds and churned waters brought by Hurricane Matthew on Saturday unearthed a stack of cannonballs likely from the Civil War era.
The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad was called to investigate the pile of old ordnance was found on Folly Beach.
