• Charlestown man allegedly assaults woman on Orange Line


    BOSTON - A Charlestown man is accused of assaulting a woman on the Orange line. 

    On May 2, a woman was riding the Orange Line in the early morning, boarding at Malden Center. When she was standing inside the train, she reported to Transit Police a man positioned himself very close to her. Then, he allegedly indecently assaulted her. 

    Through an investigation, Gregory Rieschick, 38, of Charlestown was identified and taken into custody on Wednesday at the MBTA's Community College station.

    Rieschick was taken to Transit Police headquarters for the arrest booking process.
