Boston Police searching for missing man with autism

BOSTON — Boston Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing man with autism

Jeffery Cooper, 23, was last seen in the area of 38 Border Street in East Boston on Friday, June 9.

Jeffery is described as a young black man, about 6'00" tall with a slim build.

Cooper was last seen wearing a Celtics baseball cap, prescription eyeglasses with a gray, white and black shirt, blue jeans, gray sneakers and carrying a gray backpack.

He is autistic and not verbally responsive.

Authorities say he's been reported missing in the past, but usually returns safely after two or three days.

Cooper is known to use the MBTA and may be in the Maverick Square area.

Anyone with information regarding this missing person is asked to contact 911 or District C-11 detectives at 617-343-4234.
