Antique car smashes into Newburyport home

NEWBURYPORT, Mass. — A driver in an antique car slammed right into a house in Newburyport over the weekend.

The driver of a 1937 Ford headed to the hospital after the crash but is expected to be fine.

The home on Spofford Street suffered quite a bit of damage.

Meanwhile, the car is likely totaled.

Police are still working to determine why the driver lost control.
