Accused bank robber arrested days after release from jail

ABINGTON, Mass. — Boston 25 News has confirmed an accused bank robber on the South Shore was arrested just days after being released from jail for robbing another bank.

On April 9th, police arrested Judy Fitzpatrick for robbing the Harbor One in downtown Brockton. Fitzpatrick allegedly told the bank's assistant manager she had a gun and ordered all the employees into the vault. Two Brockton Police officers showed up and arrested her before she left the bank with thousands and dollars in cash.

On Monday, the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office confirmed to Boston 25 News Fitzpatrick was charged with robbing another bank on Saturday. That bank was the Rockland Trust in Abington. She had posted bail from the first case the Tuesday before. The 57-year-old is now being held without bail until a dangerousness hearing on Thursday.
