Abington teen charged as 'peeping Tom' for peering into windows

ABINGTON, Mass. — An 18-year-old has been arrested after allegedly hiding in bushes and looking into the windows of houses in Abington.

Police said they’ve had several reports from women in the Orange Street area of the man over the past several days.

On Friday, police responded to a call on Walnut Street around 11 p.m. and found footprints in the snow around the home and stopping near a living room window.

Officers were able to track the suspect and find him running down Centre Avenue toward Lake Street.

Police arrested 18-year-old John Furr of Abington and charged him with five counts of disorderly conduct (peeping Tom).
