2nd suspect tied to theft from Rob Gronkowski's house arrested

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- One of the two remaining suspects tied to a robbery at Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski’s home has been arrested.

Police in Foxborough told Boston 25 News that Eric Tyrrell turned himself in Tuesday afternoon and will be arraigned Wednesday.

Police said Tyrrell was one of three men who broke into Gronk’s home while he was at the Super Bowl.

They are accused of stealing weapons, coins and other items.

According to police, Tyrrell did not enter the Gronkowski residence, but did receive property that had been stolen from the home.

Last week, police arrested Anthony Almeida of Randolph after discovering some of the stolen items during a search of his home.

Almeida is charged with breaking and entering, two counts of receiving stolen property and malicious destruction of property.

Shane Denn, 26, of Tewskbury remains on the run. Denn is also wanted in connection to a crime spree in the Merrimack Valley over the weekend that included a stolen car, a robbery at a convenience store and several motor vehicle crash.

“I would urge Mr. Denn, who’s world is collapsing all around him as a result of our work with the other two suspects, to join Mr. Tyrrell and turn himself in,” Foxborough Police Chief Bill Baker said.
