Boston 25 Cares joins walk for mental health awareness

BOSTON — Boston 25 Cares proudly supported the Massachusetts NAMI Walk Artesani Park.

Mark Ockerbloom, Vanessa Welch, Elysia Rodriguez and Crystal Haynes turned out to help raise awareness of mental health conditions and raise funds for NAMI’s (National Alliance on Mental Illness) mission to help individuals and families right here in Massachusetts.

NAMI stands for National Alliance for Mental Illness. As one of the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization, NAMI provides support, education and advocacy for millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

Many people and families who need a place to turn can depend on NAMI to give them help and hope.

Locally, NAMI Mass hosts education programs, facilitates support groups, provides mental health trainings, advocates for access to services and offer a compassionate place to turn for the millions of Americans living with a mental health condition.

Teams walk and raise funds to keep these vital mental health support programs going.

Register today and join us to support healthy, productive lives. NAMI Mass is a vital resource for individuals and families facing the challenges of mental illness, providing free family-based mental health education, grassroots advocacy and family and peer support.
