• Slick conditions cause accidents around the area


    BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- FOX 25 is following reports of several Friday afternoon accidents.

    In Auburn, N.H., traffic was detoured on the Route 28 bypass near Rattlesnake Hill Road due to a fatal accident. There is currently no word on the identity of the deceased victim.

    Route 2 east in Fitchburg was also shut down after a serious accident.

    In Lincoln, a car went off the road on Route 117 at Drumlin Road. Lincoln Police say there were no injuries.

    Weston Police were also investigating a three-car crash in the area of Route 30 and Oak Street. The call came in at about 1:30 p.m. There is no word on any injuries at this time.

    The multiple accidents come as Gov. Deval Patrick ordered all Mass. residents who are not part of the emergency effort off the road by 4 p.m.
