Flooding a major concern along the coast

SCITUATE, Mass. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – People along the coast are gearing up for possible flooding. Winds are expected to reach speeds of 60 miles per hour.

Officials are hoping sea walls make it through for critical high tides coming in Friday night and Saturday morning.

Scituate is still rebuilding from a 2010 flood that destroyed two homes, but many people there say they are better prepared this time around.

Officials are urging residents in Humarock and Scituate to evacuate and restricting coastal roads to emergency personnel only during the storm.
