BARNSTABLE (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) –
Due to the dangerous weather conditions expected from Hurricane Sandy, the Cape
Cod Regional Transit Authority announced on Monday the suspension of all
Dial-A-Ride-Transportation, Fixed Route, and the Boston Hospital Transportation
bus services beginning at 12 p.m.
The bus service operated several morning buses for passengers requiring
essential medical service transportation, as well as transportation to emergency
shelters; however, those services have since been suspended and will only
resume after the potential danger associated with the storm system has passed.
