FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels has decided not to accept the head coaching position with the Indianapolis Colts, ESPN reports.
The report was sent out by Adam Schefter just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, only a few hours after McDaniels was announced as the new Colts coach.

It is unclear what this means for the future of the Patriots, but Schefter says McDaniels will be staying in New England.
According to ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss, Bill Belichick is "locked in" to coach in New England this coming season.
