Patriots sign James White to a 3-year contract extension

According to the Adam Schefter of ESPN, White has agreed to a 3-year extension with the team which will keep him in Foxboro for the next four seasons.

White was primarily used as as a receiving back and had career highs with 60 receptions, 551 yards and five touchdowns.

He earned his extension playing a key role in Patriot’s come-from-behind victory over the Falcons, rushing for 29 yards and two touchdowns -- including the game-winner in overtime -- and hauling in 14 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown.
